Painter.
Jane Wilson studied at the Iowa State University in 1945 and 1947, and worked as a history of art teacher. She lives and works in New York. Her paintings are mostly abstract, and seek to recreate sensations experienced in response to landscape. Her work has featured in a number of group exhibitions, most notably Stable Annuals at the Art Institute of Chicago and the San Francisco Museum of Art. She has also staged a number of solo exhibitions, including at St John College, Maryland (1951) and regularly in New York since 1953. ["WILSON, Jane." Benezit Dictionary of Artists.
