BiographyArt dealer who began selling prints for Frederick Keppel then founded the Macbeth Gallery in 1892 in New York City. The Macbeth gallery was the first gallery at that time to deal solely in American art. The most famous of Macbeth's exhibitions was that of The Eight, in 1908.
