Eli Jacobi studied in Europe and Asia before moving to the USA in 1920 where he joined the Art Student¹s League in New York. He worked as a WPA artist and contributed illustrations to Nation, Living Age and Saturday Review. Jacobi is above all remembered for his linoleum block prints.
