BiographyRegionalist printmaker and painter influenced by Benton, primarily known for his railroad imagery. Graduated from the John Herron Art School in 1938 where he studied under Henrik Mayer and noted Hoosier Group artist William Forsyth. In 1940, Fulwider accepted a teaching position at the School of Fine Arts at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he retired as Chair of the Department in 1973. [IFPDA]
