Label TextIn this natural setting, the bright colors in FLOWERS THAT BLOOM NOW stand out. Polka dots are a hallmark of Yayoi Kusama’s work, and the unnatural colors and materials of the floral form transport us into the fantasy world of the artist’s mind. Kusama alludes to both microscopic and macroscopic universes which she has explored throughout her long career in paintings, performances, room-sized installations, sculptures, literary works, films, fashion, design, and architectural interventions.
