Label TextJuxtaposing a human-made steel gabion (a stone-filled cage used to build bridge or building abutments), with smooth river rock, Celeste Roberge has created a chaise lounge that looks anything but comfortable. Despite its forbidding appearance, guests will find it a not-uncomfortable seat for viewing the surrounding natural beauty of the museum’s East Terrace.
