Not on viewLabel TextRockwell Kent considered Greenland to be an earthly paradise. He traveled to the island in 1929, 1931, and 1934. Even after months of dark winter days in a small settlement above the Arctic Circle, his enthusiasm for its natural wonders endured. In Greenland Landscape, he emphasized the awe-inspiring scale of the environment with small figures dwarfed by the mountainous terrain.
