Not on viewLabel TextLunar Landscape glows with the reflection of light from a hidden source - just as the moon glows at night from the reflected light of the unseen sun. Isamu Noguchi used a complex arrangement of colored acetate filters and concealed light bulbs to create this effect. The curvy, biomorphic forms of the illuminated sculpture evoke both an otherworldly landscape and shapes of the human body. Cork spheres on fishing line seem to hang in orbit, like satellites or planets.
