Label TextRobyn Horn’s sculpture reflects her interest in the physical properties of wood and the natural shapes and striations found in rock. In Already Set in Motion, the influence of the seminal Nude Descending a Staircase (1931) by Marchel Duchamp can be seen in the graceful downward glide of repeating shapes. A native Arkansas, Horn now lives in Pulaski County, and was honored as an Arkansas Living Treasure by the Department of Arkansas Heritage in 2008.
